North American not-for-profit selects UNIT4 Agresso ERP
Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) joins growing list of not-for-profits benefiting from IT backbone that supports growth, changes in funding streams and ensures business agility
Bristol, UK, 27th March, 2014, UNIT4, the global leader in software that supports business change, today announced an agreement with Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. to implement UNIT4 Agresso ERP throughout the business to ensure best practice business processes as the organisation grows and finds new revenue streams.
Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) founded in 1977 and headquartered in New York, benefits and supports more than 3,500 individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness, and traumatic brain injury. It is the mission of FREE to help individuals of all abilities to realise their full potential. FREE provides a diverse array of support and services including housing, recovery services, transition to work, employment, day, community and family services, respite, crisis services, education and after-school support, primary and specialty health care and advocacy.
By ensuring best practice business processes related to its financials, procurement, project planning, costing and billing, FREE can maintain and improve the quality of support and services it provides. To continue its mission of helping individuals of all abilities realize their full potential, FREE must maintain its fiscal viability. This means not only maintaining traditional funding streams to provide its existing services, but also preparing for the future by securing alternative sources of revenue.
Agresso was chosen over competitive solutions including Blackbaud and PeopleSoft because its easy support for changing business structures will help FREE remain agile to respond to external change drivers in the future. “FREE is constantly looking for opportunities to grow and broaden its reach to an increasing number of people that need support to achieve their full potential,” said Susan Dickinson, CFO at FREE. “Today’s uncertain times make it more important than ever to have systems in place that enable us to remain agile and responsive to change. We are confident Agresso will support this and provide the stability we need to grow and achieve our mission into the future.”
